Overview

Sustain360: Essentials is a flagship program by UN Global Compact Egypt, designed to provide a solid foundation in sustainability for individuals aiming to embark on their sustainability journey within the private sector. This comprehensive training program offers a 360-degree understanding of the core principles and dimensions of sustainability, equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to drive impactful changes within their organizations. In addition to covering the fundamentals of sustainability, the program integrates essential soft skills training to empower participants with the communication, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities necessary to implement sustainable practices effectively.

Goals & Objectives

• Develop empowered and capable professionals who can contribute to embedding the UN Global Compact principles and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their respective organizations.
• Empower participants to become advocates for sustainable development in the private sector.
• Understand the core principles of sustainability and the UN Global Compact Ten Principles.
• Gain insights into the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their relevance to the private sector.
• Learn about global and local sustainability trends, challenges, and opportunities.

Important Terms & Notes

• Strong command of the English language.
• Open to professionals from various sectors, especially those currently working in, or aspiring to work in, roles related to sustainability, ESG, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or similar fields.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field is preferred, with a background in business, environmental sciences, engineering, economics, or social sciences considered a plus.
• Demonstrated interest in sustainability, environmental protection, social responsibility, or governance-related topics through prior work, volunteer activities, or personal initiatives.
• Willingness to actively participate in program activities, group discussions, and assignments.
• Enthusiasm for applying the knowledge and skills gained to advance sustainability within their organizations or communities.
• The ability to take initiative and inspire others to drive sustainability efforts is highly valued.
• Priority will be given two any candidate who meets the above requirements and have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience to ensure familiarity with organizational dynamics and challenges.
